The previous MR-228 is a boat which was donated to the fire company in the late-1990's. It was kept on the Great Sacandaga Lake during the spring and summer months.

This boat had similar equipment now used on the fire company's current pontoon boat.  This boat was purchased by a private buyer when replaced by the current MR-228.
