R-221 was purchased in August 2009 from the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company.  This truck is a 1993 Ford F-Super Duty with a Central States body.  It features a 500GPM Darley pump with a 400 gallon booster tank.

R-221 is used as the company's rescue truck.  It will respond to any EMS assist calls, as well as any motor vehicle accidents.  R-221 contains the company's JAWS of Life extrication equipment.
